Meet Maurice (I think that's his name, I'm not 100% committed yet). We got to pick him out Sunday, but we don't get to bring him home for a couple more weeks. I keep telling myself to just enjoy the peace and quiet while I have the chance!
In the meantime, I've been doing some work in my fabric journal, mostly inspired by an online class I took from Rebecca Sower. Trying to loosen up as always.
Oh my goodness Terri, what gorgeousness! Firstly Maurice (I love that name) is adorable and he's going to be so much fun when he finally arrives, and secondly, your amazing art work. I love all the pieces but of course the butterfly one and the butterfly and moth one stole my heart - absolutely exquisite. I love Rebecca Sower's work, I really only know her for her textile pieces and I had no idea she did online classes - I might have a mooch around and find out about them, although I'm wary of paying for classes as I often just don't have the staying power to keep going with them.
