Back to Normal Life

I'm exhausted, but so glad I participated in Roses and Rust. I met some wonderful, really supportive people, and some of them even bought my art!  Here are some pictures of my booth, as promised. There was some extra space to spill out of my 10'x10' assigned area, which was nice, especially since I was selling some larger, non-art vintagey pieces as well.

I may be taking a bit of an art break, just to focus on some other things for a bit, or just do some art journaling, which I've missed. But I'll still be checking in on all my favorite blogs regularly... And thanks so much to my blog friends for all your support while I prepared for this show - it meant a lot!

  5. But wait! I NEED to know what sold! So curious about your globe, the paint brush with drips, the . . . do tell ;)
Your space looks gorgeous, lady! Maybe you'll sell the rest for holiday shoppers somewhere? Too good to be tucked away . . . xoxoxo

  6. Oh my gosh! Your booth is absolutely gorgeous!!! You hit a home run, Girl!. Beautiful in every way. I am so happy to hear that some of your amazing art found its way to new homes. I'm with Kristin - it is TOO good to be tucked away - so you must get it out and available for holiday shoppers. I can already see that I would have happily gone home with a few things from here - like that killer globe and the robot made from the camera, and at least one of the paintings... all extraordinary. Happy PPF - don't break too long... you'll be missed :)

  9. What?!!?! It's been two weeks since I visited here?! And I was really interested to hear about your show. Time and busy-ness is really starting to irritate me.

But enough about you. These are GREAT pictures! I'm so glad you had a rewarding experience. I don't blame you for wanting to do journal work for awhile, or no art at all. It charges the batteries, baby.

Visit the yardhouse again. Sometimes that's what it takes. HA!
